Evolute Certified i-Joy Electric Crossover

Motorinvest received VTA for its Evolute i-Joy electric crossover, which will be the brand's first model in the Russian market. Production of the novelty at the Motorinvest plant in the Lipetsk region is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2022, after which sales will also start.

According to the Chinese Cars portal, the Evolute i-Joy will be equipped with a 176 hp electric engine and 225 Nm of torque with a range of 405 km on the NEDC cycle, a 53 kW battery and fast charging via the CCS-2 connector from 30% to 80% for 30 minutes. Recall that the Evolute i-Joy was created on the basis of the 2019 rebranded DFSK Glory E3 crossover, better known as the Seres 3. In China, it is equipped with a 163 hp unit, which, however, has a higher maximum torque of 300 Nm.

Vehicle dimensions are 4385 x 1850 x 1650 mm, wheelbase - 2655 mm. Recall, in total, the Evolute lineup will have three crossovers of various classes, a minivan and a sedan, created on the basis of Dongfeng models, from which they are distinguished only by a nameplate on the radiator grille.

At the moment, the Evolute dealer network includes nine cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Krasnodar, Lipetsk, Voronezh, Sochi, Rostov-on-Don. But it is still premature to say whether sales will start simultaneously in all these regions. Also, the service at the first stage will be carried out through the dealer network.
