Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia considered and supported the application for concluding a special investment contract with Aurus. The corresponding decision was made by the interdepartmental commission for the conclusion, amendment and termination of special investment contracts, the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation reports.
As Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Vasily Osmakov noted, it will be the first SPIC, the parameters of which provide for the production of cars with a hybrid power plant. Investments in the project will be more than 4.7 billion rubles, and it is planned to receive more than 7.5 thousand cars as a result.
Recall that earlier, within the framework of the industrial exhibition Innoprom, the Aurus Senat hydrogen sedan was shown, which was first presented in May the previous year during the launch of Aurus mass production in Yelabuga. The description for the car at the Aurus stand notes that the Aurus Hydrogen model has a range of up to 600 km, acceleration time to 100 km/h is 4 seconds. The sedan is equipped with a combined electrical installation, which combines a traction electric drive and an electrochemical hydrogen generator. Hydrogen Aurus - all-wheel drive, battery capacity is 100 kWh.
A distinctive feature of fuel cell vehicles is the complete absence of emissions: the car is driven by electricity generated by the installation as a result of a chemical reaction between oxygen and hydrogen.
