Domestic trucks regained their leadership in the Russian market

Trucks of domestic brands have again become the most popular in Russia. This was revealed by the experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" after processing and analyzing the relevant data of JSC "Electronic Passport" for the third week of July 2022.

Recall that a week earlier (from the 11th to the 17th), for the first time trucks from China won the leadership in the Russian market. But this time, for the period from July 18th to 24th, they were bought in the amount of 624 new units and took the second place in the ranking. And domestic trucks returned to the top again, which sold 715 units.

Experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" noted that for the last few weeks, the share of Russian and Chinese trucks in total accounts for more than 85% of the total sales. "Group of Europe, for the sake of sanctions, actually left Russia. Now they are not even in the top-10 of the market leaders. Now the TOP-10 consists of three domestic brands, five Chinese, one Belarusian and one Japanese. Therefore, the struggle for leadership will go on between "ours" and "Chinese", and everyone else will get a small piece of the market," Azat Timerkhanov, head of the press service of the AUTOSTAT agency, believes.
