The share of LADA exceeded 30% in the Russian market

During the third week of July (from 18 to 24) there were sold 2607 new LADA cars in Russia, which is 31.8% of the total volume. This conclusion was made by the experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" as a result of processing and analyzing the data of JSC "Electronic Passport".

Experts note that the last time the share of LADA in the Russian market more than 30% was back in 2007. Then it was 30.1%, and in all subsequent years it was less, and in 2014 it even dropped to a minimum of 15%.
If we consider the results of the 1st half of 2022, then the share of LADA for this period was 20.8%. But already in the July weeks, its sharp growth is observed: in the first week - 27.9%, in the second - 29%, in the third - 31.8%.

This is largely due to the fact that in the summer AVTOVAZ resumed the production of simplified versions of LADA Granta, which dealers now have. And quite recently, the assembly of the LADA Niva Legend SUV was launched according to the same scheme.
