AVTOVAZ may start the sales of a limited lot of updated LADA Vesta

AVTOVAZ may soon start the shipping of the updated LADA Vesta to car dealers. As the Lada.Online portal writes with reference to AVTOVAZ dealers, this will be a limited lot that was produced before the suspension of production at the LADA Izhevsk enterprise.

In total, about 800 LADA Vesta NG cars in all body styles (sedan, station wagon and their cross-versions) will be shipped. This number of cars will be distributed to all auto centers (there are about 300 official LADA dealers in Russia). That is, each dealer will receive approximately two cars. Cars will be in medium trim levels (Comfort +, Luxe), there will be no basic and most expensive versions for the time being. Prices for LADA Vesta NG should be announced at the end of July.

Recall that in February 2022, the production of the updated LADA Vesta started at the LADA Izhevsk plant. About 600 new parts and components were used in the restyled model, investments in the project were about 7 billion rubles. Currently, the LADA Izhevsk conveyor has been suspended due to a shortage of components caused by a break in logistics chains. As AVTOVAZ President Maxim Sokolov previously reported, the company expects to restart the production of the flagship LADA Vesta in Izhevsk in early 2023.

As for the external changes of the updated model, an elegant arc is integrated into the front bumper, extending from the headlight housing and separated by a silver molding. The bumper itself has a more developed relief, which is especially expressive thanks to the new shape of the X-shaped moldings. The new car has fully LED optics: headlights, fog lights, taillights. The design of the radiator grille of the restyled LADA Vesta differs depending on the version of the car. In standard versions, it is crossed by two chrome moldings, which increase the dynamism of the look and visually expand the car. In Cross-versions, the false radiator grille has a large-mesh pattern, corresponding to the off-road nature of the car. The LADA logo has also been enlarged. The rear bumper is made in a sporty design, which is emphasized by two decorative exhaust pipes. The new trunk lid in its vertical part has two new stampings that visually lengthen the car. For the restyled LADA Vesta, a new design of 16- and 17-inch wheels is provided, which is a combination of black lacquer and diamond polishing.
