Upgraded LADA Niva Legend received an ambulance version

The Shvabe Company of the Rostec State Corporation, as part of the recent industrial exhibition Innoprom, presented an all-terrain ambulance based on the LADA Niva Legend Prima. The first production vehicles in the ambulance configuration will be sent to customers in August, the Rostec press service reports.

The LADA Niva Legend Prima SUV can be made in class A and class B versions. The first one is focused on emergency transportation of patients over short distances and is equipped with a capsule option - an inner wall for greater safety of doctors and patients. The second variant is built on an improved off-road wheelbase, is equipped with an increased power engine, an enlarged interior and is capable of transporting up to two patients and a team of three doctors. This version of an ambulance is suitable, for example, for delivering a patient from a district center to a regional hospital.

Rostec ambulances are suitable for use at low temperatures, equipped with dual-circuit air conditioners and swivel seats for the convenience of medical staff. As an additional advantage, the level of the hull is low for all-wheel drive vehicles, which increases the convenience of loading the patient on a stretcher.
