    In the new study, the experts of the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" decided to analyze what is the average annual efficiency of a single car dealership in Russia. The study was based on two indicators at the end of 2017 - the sale of new cars and the revenue from it.



The Russian car market remained in the ninth place in Europe in June 2022


The Russian automotive market, which continued to fall in June, remained in the ninth place in the European championship.

Germany became the leader in sales of cars, where 224,558 cars were sold (-18.1%). France ranked the second among the largest European car markets with 171,087 cars (-14.2%). The third result was shown by Great Britain – 140 958 sold cars (-24.3%). According to the British Society of Automobile Manufacturers and Car Dealers (SMMT), this is the worst result for the first summer month since 1996.

Italy is the next, the dealers of which sold 127,209 vehicles (-15%). According to the Italian Association of Automobile Manufacturers (ANFIA), the launch of measures to subsidize the purchase of environmentally friendly cars in the second half of May continues to contain the fall in sales, although it is also measured in double digits. Spain still finishes the top five, its car market in June fell by 7.8% and reached 89 252 cars.

If, when considering the automotive market in Europe, Russia is taken into account, then our country remains on the ninth line of the European rating behind Poland (39 585 units, -8.5%), Belgium (34 814 units, -15.3%) and the Netherlands (30 012 units, -8.9%). According to data of the Association of European Businesses, sales of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia were 27,761 units (-82%) the last month. A slightly lower result was shown by Sweden, the car market of which became the tenth largest in Europe - 26,088 sold cars (-27.7%).
