The Chinese automaker Great Wall Motor has reached the mark of 1 million vehicles sold in foreign markets. Significant growth in exports has been noted in the previous two years thanks to the launch of globally oriented models such as Haval Jolion, Haval Dargo, the third generation Haval H6 and the GWM Poer pickup truck. According to the results of the first half of 2022, the GWM concern sold 518,525 vehicles, including 62,823 vehicles in foreign markets, which is 12% of total sales.

Today, GWM brands are represented in more than 170 countries around the world, where the concern has about 700 sales channels. As a part of the globalization strategy, the company is introducing new products to such competitive markets as Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Chile, and continues to develop in the fast-growing markets of Thailand, Egypt, Nepal, Brunei, Pakistan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, Iraq, Singapore and Laos.

Given the global trend towards electric vehicles, GWM plans to launch a wide range of alternative energy models in Australia, one of the important regions in the company's global development strategy. At the same time, the concern is exploring the possibility of entering new European markets.
