Cars of Chinese brands appeared in the Russian car sharing

Russian car-sharing companies began to replenish their fleet with cars of Chinese brands, Kommersant writes. The reason for this is the loss of Western and Japanese partners.

For example, Delimobil has already purchased the first lot of Chery Tiggo 4 out of 150 new cars. This is the first experience of working with Chinese brands, company representatives said. The next year, Delimobil plans to replenish its own fleet by 10-12 thousand units annually with cars from China.

The Citydrive car sharing service already offers Haval Jolion and Chery Tiggo 7 PRO to its customers. According to Aleksey Sergeev, General Director of the company, 3,000 vehicles have already been purchased since the beginning of the year. There are no operational problems, and consumers do not see much difference between the German and Chinese auto industries.

Yandex.Drive also plans to buy about 7,000 cars from China. BelkaCar also has representatives of Chinese brands.

How much does it cost to rent a Chinese car?

In Citydrive, a 1-minute trip by Haval Jolion or Chery Tiggo 7 PRO cars will cost about 13 rubles 60 kopecks. It is worth noting that these cars are added to the "Comfort" section and this is the most expensive rental in this category. For example, Renault Arkana costs from 8.99 rubles per a minute; Skoda Karoq - from 11.99 rubles / min. Prices are for residents of Moscow.
Recall that the share of Chinese cars in the domestic market in June 2022 reached 21%. That is, every fifth car sold is from China.
