Vehicle e-buy/sell service launched by Gosuslugi site in Russia

It was possible to check whether any restrictions were imposed on the seller's car before, using the open database of the traffic police, as well as to issue a contract of a vehicle purchase (and print in out later). But only now it became possible to sign a fully electronic contract, which would be recognized by all transactors and official authorities. Ministry for Digital Technology, Communication and Mass Media of the Russian Federation together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs launched the promised service at Gosuslugi site.

But "in pilot mode" for now and only for individuals and for used cars. In this case, the buyer and seller may not meet each other at all. The restrictions can only be the age (both the seller and the buyer must be over 18 years old), the absence of verified Gosuslugi accounts (the verified account is a mandatory condition), the restrictions imposed on the vehicle being sold or bought. There is no need to record the contract by a notary.  Everything happens online. The plan of actions (user prompts) is written on the page step by step. At the same time, there is no need to type in the identification data on the vehicle as well as the seller and the buyer.

They will be included in the contract template automatically. This excludes errors in the document, which sometimes can occur due to the human factor. Such an agreement is signed using a special Goskluch application.
