How many new cars did AVTOVAZ sell in June?

In June 2022, AVTOVAZ sold 7,484 new LADA vehicles. PRIME agency reports that these data were provided by the president of the company Maxim Sokolov at the international industrial exhibition INNOPROM – 2022. According to Sokolov, AVTOVAZ sales in June were 24.5% higher than in May. However, comparing to the previous year (June 2021), they are 81.3% lower. A similar situation is observed if we consider the market results prepared by AUTOSTAT agency based on the data of Electronic Passport company.

Thus, in June, Russian customers bought 8,349 new LADA vehicles (7,848 passenger cars and 501 LCVs), which is 19.7% more than in May and 78.1% less than in June 2021. Experts of AUTOSTAT agency also compiled a rating of the most popular new passenger cars in Russia in June 2022, which included four LADA models. The Granta is still the leader here followed by the Vesta on the second place, while the Niva and the Largus took the sixth and the seventh places, respectively.
