LADA Granta remained the leader of the Russian automotive market in June

The LADA Granta is still in the best demand in the new passenger car market in Russia. Thus, according to the data of Electronic Passport company, processed by the experts of AUTOSTAT agency, in June 2022, residents of the Russian Federation purchased 3,359 vehicles of the domestic model. The LADA Vesta is still on the second place in the model rating– 2,185 cars of this family were purchased at the beginning of summer. It is followed by three Korean models – the Kia Rio (1,568 vehicles, including the Rio X), the Hyundai Solaris (1,445 vehicles) and the Hyundai Creta (1,290 vehicles). The sixth place was taken by the LADA Niva SUV with 1,003 vehicles sold in June.

The LADA Largus VP large estate car is on the seventh place with 927 vehicles sold. The TOP-10 new cars last month also included three Chinese models - the Chery Tiggo 7 PRO (913 vehicles), the Haval Jolion (836 vehicles) and the Chery Tiggo 4 (825 vehicles). As AUTOSTAT agency has already reported, in June 2022, residents of the Russian Federation bought 32.7 thousand new vehicles. That is 19% more than in May, but 77% less than in June 2021.
