The Kangaroo Electro electric truck has been certified for Russia. Vehicle approval was issued for the model in four modifications, but so far it is valid only for 150 cars. The production of new items has been established in the Kaluga region, writes the Chinese Automobiles portal. According to vehicle approval, we are talking about the J2-P model, which is based on vehicles from Qingzhou Runhorse Holding.
This is a four-wheeled single-seat electric truck. Its dimensions are 3600 x 1345 x 1765 mm, the wheelbase is 2375 mm. The engine is located transversely above the rear axle, while buyers will be offered a choice of two engines - 5.4 or 6.8 hp. A lithium battery with a capacity of 105 or 206 ampere-hours allows you to travel 80 or 170 km on a single charge. According to the manufacturer, fast charging from a 220-volt outlet to 80% takes 4.5 hours, to 100% - up to 6 hours. A solar panel can also be mounted on the roof of the van. The equipment of Kangaroo Electro, among other things, includes air conditioning, heater, refrigeration unit.
The technically permissible maximum load is 1025 kg, that is, in principle, 398-475 kg of cargo can be loaded into the J2-P, depending on the version. The vehicle is certified as a chassis and a van with a volume of 2 cubic meters, with an open side platform with dimensions of 1635 x 1050 mm and a refrigerator. According to the manufacturer, the cost of such versions ranges from 1.06 to 1.72 million rubles. Warranty is three years with unlimited mileage and five years for the battery.
