The Sollers Group, which previously owned a 76.7% stake in Sollers Auto, sold its entire block of shares to a new owner, Alter Invest LLC. The change in the company's shareholding structure took place as a result of the management buyout deal, under which the key top managers of the holding become shareholders of Sollers Auto. Sollers Auto left Vadim Shvetsov, who had controlled the group since 2007. From the data of the SPARK-Interfax analytical system, it follows that Alter Invest LLC was registered on June 17 in Khimki near Moscow; it is headed by the general director of Sollers Auto, Nikolai Sobolev.

The shareholders are Nikolai Sobolev (35.5%), the head of UAZ and Sollers Ford Adil Shirinov (39%), the deputy director of Sollers Auto Zoya Kaika (20%) and the deputy director for legal issues of Sollers Auto Viktor Khvesenya (5%). As noted, Sollers Auto will continue its activities in the previous structure of assets owned by the company and it is going to further develop the strategy for the production and distribution of cars, auto components and the launch of new mobility services on the market.

Recall that Sollers Auto combines the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant and the industrial site of the Zavolzhsky Motor Plant, it has joint ventures in Russia with Ford Motor Company (Sollers Ford) and Mazda Motor Corporation (Mazda Sollers Manufacturing Rus). Sollers Auto also includes a full cycle engineering center - Sollers Engineering. According to Kommersant newspaper sources, the deal with the controlling stake in Sollers Auto was closed on June 24th and was cash based on the market valuation of the assets.

The capitalization of Sollers Auto on the Moscow Exchange as of June 24th was 5.8 billion rubles. Thus, the cost of Vadim Shvetsov's stake was at the level of 4.5 billion rubles. Vadim Shvetsov's decision to sell Sollers Auto is not related to possible sanctions against him as the owner of the group, the source said. According to him, Vadim Shvetsov gradually reduced his involvement in the management of Sollers Auto after leaving in 2019 from the post of general director of the group, which he had held since the founding of the concern.
