Auto dealers of the French automaker Renault, which left Russia, began to receive the first compensation. These are mainly bonuses for fulfilling the car sales plan in the first quarter of 2022, Vyacheslav Zubarev, head of the Russian Auto Dealers Association (ROAD), and Eduard Markman, president of the Renault Dealers Association (ADR), informed Vedomosti.
In addition to bonuses, according to Mr. Markman, there are also compensations for the elimination of breakdowns for cars, the manufacturer's warranty period of which has not expired. In this case, we can talk about the amount of 2 million to 10 million rubles for each dealer. Thus, the amount of compensation is small, and the prospects for large payments remain vague. As previously reported by "AUTOSTAT", on May 16th, agreements were signed on the transfer of Russian assets of the Renault Group to state ownership.
As a result of the transactions, the shares in the assets will be distributed as follows: 100% of the shares of CJSC Renault Russia were transferred to the Moscow government, 67.69% of the shares of AVTOVAZ became the property of the Russian Federation represented by the Federal State Unitary Enterprise NAMI, subordinated to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. The remaining shares of AVTOVAZ were retained by Rostech.
