In the first half of June, the companies did not raise prices for new cars

Automakers operating in the Russian Federation have stopped raising prices for their cars. This conclusion is made by the experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" based on the results of monitoring the official websites of distributors, which was conducted by the specialists of the portal "Auto Price". So, in the first half of June*, none of the companies raised prices for new cars. At the same time, the German premium brand BMW even lowered them - the reduction in prices for the entire model range ranged from 11% to 20%. Recall that in March, prices for cars were raised by 26 brands officially represented in the Russian market. Then, against the backdrop of a sharp fall in the exchange rate of the Russian ruble, caused by the consequences of a military special operation in Ukraine, new cars rose in price by 35-45%. But then the ruble began to strengthen, and the number of brands that raised car prices began to decline. For example, in April, 14 automakers experienced a rise in product prices, and in May, only six.

Moreover, individual brands even began to reduce prices - in the last month of spring, the Chinese Haval did it (the Jolion crossover and the H9 SUV fell in price). However, for a number of brands, pricing information on official websites is still either missing or presented as of February or March. Among them there are Audi, Honda, JAC, Jaguar, Jeep, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Porsche, Skoda, Volvo and others.
