In May, sales of used cars grew only in the North Caucasus

Among all federal districts, the growth of the secondary market in May 2022 was noted only in the North Caucasus. This was found out by the expert of the agency "AUTOSTAT" in preparation for the auto business forum "UsedCars Forum - 2022". As a result of processing and analyzing the data of JSC "Electronic Passport", the experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" found that in May, a drop in sales of used cars was observed in seven of the eight federal districts of the country.

At the same time, a slight increase in the secondary market was recorded only in the North Caucasus (+1%). The sales of used cars fell the most in Siberia (-39%). Also, the markets of the Urals, Far East, North-Western, Volga and Central federal districts lost from 30% to 37% in compare with May 2021. In the Southern Federal District, this figure was -22%.
