St. Petersburg leads by the sales of buses

Most of buses in Russia are purchased by St. Petersburg. This conclusion is made by the experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" based on the results of processing and analysis of the relevant data of JSC "Electronic Passport" (EPTS). So, for 5 months of 2022, 5404 new buses were sold in Russia. At the same time, a ninth of this amount fell on the Northern capital (598 units). Moscow, which was the leader in previous years, this time takes the second place in the regional ranking. Its indicator was 423 sold buses. The Volgograd region finishes the top three (347 units).

The TOP-10 of constituent entities of the Russian Federation in terms of purchases of new buses in January-May of this year also included: Perm Territory (290 units), Moscow Region (203 units), Krasnoyarsk Territory (191 units), Belgorod Region (190 units), Leningrad region (164 units), Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug (162 units) and the Republic of Crimea (155 units).
