The company "Electric cars Manufacturing Rus" disclosed the prices and characteristics of the electric van EVM PRO, developed on the basis of the long-wheelbase model UAZ "Profi". The release of new items is planned to begin at the enterprise in the capital "Technopolis" in September this year, the annual production is estimated at 1000 vehicles, writes the publication "Behind the wheel". According to the company, the EVM PRO synchronous electric motor and power electronics are completely Russian-made, as well as the software.

The vehicle has a gross weight of 3.5 tons and can carry up to a ton of cargo, driving up to 300 km on a single charge, even in cold weather. The fact is that the vehicle has an autonomous climate system that runs on diesel fuel, and the battery charge will not be spent on heating the cabin. Also, the electric van is equipped with a 120 hp engine, which weighs only 50 kg, and an 80 kWh battery, the price of which is less than 500 thousand rubles. If you charge it from a conventional household network for three hours, then the power reserve will increase by 100 km. But according to statistics, delivery vehicles, for example, drive 200 kilometers per a day, and recharging is not required.

At the same time, the cost of one kilometer of run will be more than two times cheaper than that of vehicles with internal combustion engines - about 6 rubles. The price of the EVM PRO electric van is 3.5 million rubles, of which the buyer will be able to return 650 thousand thanks to state subsidies. As a result, the real cost of the vehicle will be about 2.85 million rubles. We also add that it will be possible to service these vehicles at official UAZ dealers.
