Excursion cabriolet based on UAZ "Profi" was presented

The Nizhny Novgorod Company "Universal-NN" presented a sightseeing SUV-cabriolet based on a commercial truck UAZ "Profi". The rear wall of the cab and part of the roof were removed from the original two-row car, and instead of the body, an original platform with seats for tourists was installed.

The cabin can accommodate up to 8 passengers, and the seating arrangement can vary depending on the needs. Also, the car has a high frame, on which, in case of bad weather, you can install a fabric awning. Technical modifications of the excursion cabriolet UAZ "Profi" are not reported. The standard truck of this model is equipped with a 2.7-liter ZMZ Pro gasoline engine (150 hp), an alternative to which can be a similar gas-gasoline internal combustion engine (143 hp).

Both options are aggregated with a 5-speed Dymos manual transmission and all-wheel drive with a reduction range in the transfer case. The cost of the novelty is also unknown, and the usual two-row UAZ Profi is currently offered at a price of 1 million 637 thousand rubles. According to the data of the Association of European Businesses, 748 UAZ Profi cars were sold in Russia for four months of 2022, which is 24% lower in compare with the same period of the previous year.
