GAZ Group refused the introduction of a shortened working week in June

GAZ Group enterprises in June will work on a full-time schedule. This was reported in the press service of the company, by adding that the decision on the future schedule will be made based on the current situation. Recall that earlier at the enterprises of the GAZ Group an order was issued on a possible transition to a 4-day working week from May 19th to November 18th, 2022 due to a possible drop in production volumes caused by problems with the supply of components and disruption of supply chains.

In May, the shortened working week was not introduced. As reported, a situational headquarters is working in the company in an anti-crisis mode, which introduces response measures, taking into account daily changes in business conditions and possible consequences in the future. Gorky Automobile Plant sold 1,892 light commercial vehicles in April, which is 61% lower than a year before.

As a result, GAZ ranked the fifth in terms of sales among all automakers in Russia. According to the results of four months of 2022, 11,229 GAZ vehicles (-24%) were sold in our country, according to the AEB.
