Haval has announced the date of the Russian debut of the Dargo crossover - the novelty will be presented in Moscow on June 8th, at the same time the start of sales and, possibly, prices will be announced. Meanwhile, the brand has already opened pre-orders for the first lot of 50 vehicles in the top-end Tech Plus configuration, which are produced at the Haval Motors Manufacturing Rus plant in the Tula region.
The exterior of the Haval Dargo, made in an urban design with original geometric shapes, is distinguished by LED round headlights, futuristic taillights, as well as a trapezoidal radiator grille with smooth angles, echoing the wheel arches. Among the interior elements, it is worth noting the original grilles of deflectors, a wide ultra-modern multimedia screen, which, together with a digital panel, creates a single space in the cabin, as well as a gear selector in the shape of a puck. Haval Dargo dimensions are 4620 x 1910 x 1780 mm with a wheelbase of 2738 mm and ground clearance of 200 mm.
The novelty is built on the basis of the L.E.M.O.N. modular platform, which formed the basis of the brand's bestseller - Jolion compact crossover. The new Haval Dargo is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine producing 192 hp with a 7-speed robotic gearbox 7DCT wet type. The car will be presented in versions with front and all-wheel drive. The crossover is equipped with an intelligent 4WD all-wheel drive system, a drive mode selection system from 8 available: eco, sport, standard, snow, mud, sand, grass / gravel and bumps.
The Mobile Eye Q4 processor, as well as 14 radars and 5 cameras, are responsible for the implementation of L2 level autonomous driving (ADAS) elements. As for the adaptation of Haval Dargo to the climatic conditions of Russia, the car is equipped with heated front and rear seats, heated steering wheel, electric windshield heating over the whole surface, heated washer nozzles, as well as an enlarged washer fluid reservoir.
