Evolute electric cars spotted for the first time in Moscow

Evolute electric cars produced by the Motorinvest plant in Lipetsk have been spotted in Moscow. Thus, now it has finally been confirmed that Dongfeng cars have become the prototypes of new products, from which they are distinguished only by a nameplate on the radiator grille. So, the Evolute i-PRO C-class electric sedan, in fact, is a refurbished copy of the 2020 Dongfeng Aeolus E70. According to information previously provided by Evolute, a single electric engine with a capacity of 150 hp acts as a power plant and 260 Nm of torque. Acceleration to 100 km / h takes 9.9 seconds. The maximum speed is limited at around 150 km / h.

The battery has a capacity of 53 kWh and allows you to drive about 420 km on a single charge. The Evolute i-VAN is a "clone" of the DongfengLingZhi EV electric minivan that debuted in 2020. Only the restyled version is taken as a basis, as evidenced by the original grille. It is equipped with one 123-horsepower electric engine on the rear axle (300 Nm). The battery is the same, at 53 kWh, but the power reserve is naturally less, however, only 10 km according to the Chinese NEDC methodology. The Evolute i-JOY compact crossover is the 2019 rebranded DFSK Glory E3, better known as the Seres 3. This is the most powerful electric car among the presented Evolute models. The front electric engine develops 163 hp and 300 Nm of torque. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 8.9 seconds. The battery with the same capacity of 53 kWh allows you to drive about 405 km on a single charge. We add that two more models are expected in the Evolute lineup - these are the Evolute i-JET and Free crossovers, the latter will receive the design of the premium novelty Voyah Free.

Recall that in March 2022, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the government of the Lipetsk Region and Motorinvest signed a special investment contract for the introduction of technology for the production of environmentally friendly urban vehicles based on traction engines. Planned investments by Motorinvest exceed 13 billion rubles for 11 years. It is expected that by the time the SPIC expires, the level of product localization will reach 5,000 points. Over 242,000 cars will be produced during the implementation of the project. Electric cars will be produced under the new Evolute brand, the Evolute production line in Russia will consist of five models - a sedan, a minivan and three crossovers of various classes.
