GAZ Group plants continue to operate on a full-time schedule

Until the end of May, GAZ Group enterprises will work on a full-time schedule, in the future the work schedule will depend on the current workload of production facilities. This was reported to Interfax by the press service of the company. Recall that earlier at the enterprises of the GAZ Group an order was issued on a possible transition to a 4-day working week from May 19 to November 18, 2022 due to a possible drop in production volumes caused by problems with the supply of components and a violation of supply chains, the agency Finmarket writes.

As reported, a situational headquarters is working in the company in an anti-crisis mode, which introduces response measures, taking into account daily changes in business conditions and possible consequences in the future. Gorky Automobile Plant sold 1,892 light commercial vehicles in April, which is 61% lower than a year ago. As a result, GAZ ranked the fifth in terms of sales among all automakers in Russia. According to the results of four months of 2022, 11,229 GAZ vehicles (-24%) were sold in our country, according to the AEB.
