Director of the Moskvich automobile plant was appointed

Dmitry Pronin has been appointed director of the Moskvich automobile plant (formerly Renault Russia). Prior to that, for 10 years he held the leadership positions in the Moscow transport complex and has experience in the automotive industry. Dmitry Pronin (born 1972) graduated from the Moscow Academy of Economics and Law in 2006 and in 2017 from the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation. In 1992-1994 he worked as commercial director of LLP "Ural", in 1996-1997 - deputy general director of CJSC "Avtokarolina".

From 1997 to 2004, he held various positions at CJSC New York Motors Moscow. In 2004 - 2011, he worked as a corporate sales director at AVILON AG, and since 2011 he has been the company's deputy general director. In July 2012, he was appointed the head of the department for the organization and control of light passenger taxi transportation in the Department of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure of the City of Moscow, and in December of the same year he took the position of deputy head of this department.

Recall that Renault Russia enterprise was transferred to the Government of Moscow, and it is planned to resume the production of passenger cars under the historical Moskvich brand by the end of 2022.
