Russian plant Haval resumed the work after a corporate holiday

Haval plant in the Tula region, which on April 30 suspended the assembly line for a corporate holiday due to the need for equipment maintenance and inventory, resumed the production of cars on May 17th. This was reported to the agency "AUTOSTAT" in the press service of "Haval Motor Rus", by adding that today the enterprise operates in a one-shift mode. Recall that in April, the Russian plant Haval began the production of a new mid-size crossover HavalDargo, which is expected from dealers in the coming months. To date, Haval model range in the Russian market includes F7 and F7x crossovers, H9 frame SUV and the HavalJolion compact crossover, which are manufactured at the company's plant in the Tula region.

As AUTOSTAT previously reported, according to the results of four months of 2022, Russian dealers of Haval sold 9123 vehicles, which is 5% lower in compare with the previous year. As a result, Haval remains the leader in terms of sales among Chinese automakers in Russia, according to AEB data. Haval's bestseller in the Russian market was the new compact crossover Haval Jolion with 3,979 sold cars. As a result, it entered the TOP-10 of best-selling SUV models in the Russian car market, experts of the AUTOSTAT agency stated.
