The head of Daimler KAMAZ Rus has changed

Oksana Karakhova has been appointed CEO of Daimler KAMAZ Rus since April 29th, 2022. In this position, she replaced Andreas Deuschle, who headed the joint venture between KAMAZ and Daimler Truck AG for more than 4 years. As new deliveries of commercial vehicles from abroad are currently suspended, Daimler KAMAZ Rus will focus on service the trucks of the company's customers in Russia, as well as on the further development and production of high-tech and fully localized components for the automotive industry in the Russian Federation, press service of joint venture reports.

Oksana Karakhova graduated from the Kama Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Automation of Technological Processes and Production. She began her career in Russian companies producing armored vehicles. She has 20 years of experience in the financial sector in large Russian and international companies. In the period from 2006 to 2009, Oksana Karakhova headed the financial and economic department of the Russian-American joint venture Cummins KAMA, a leading engine manufacturer. Oksana Karakhova joined Daimler KAMAZ Rus in December of 2009 as CFO.

During her work, she built all the main business processes in the company from scratch, led the projects for accession, mergers and acquisitions. Since September 2018, she has also been the head of the Fuso department in terms of sales and after-sales service, product and marketing.
