According to the data of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", the average age of cars in the Russian Federation as of January 1st, 2022 was 14 years. The agency's experts also found out that this figure is the least in the Volga region - here the average age of the fleet is 12.5 years. It is slightly higher in the Central Federal District - 12.6 years. In the Urals, the average age of cars is 13.2 years, and in the Northwestern Federal District it is 13.3 years. In the other four districts, the average age of passenger cars is higher than the national figure.

Thus, in the South and North Caucasus it is 14.3 and 15.1 years, respectively. In Siberia, this figure is even higher - 17.2 years. And the largest average age of the fleet is in the Far East (20.8 years).
