Nissan Qashqai entered the TOP-5 of best-selling SUVs in Russia in March

Russian Nissan dealers sold 2,699 vehicles in March, which is 53% lower than a year before. According to the results of the first three months of 2022, 11,145 Nissan vehicles were sold in Russia, which is 19% lower than in the same period of the previous year. As a result, Nissan ranked the eighth in sales among all automakers in Russia, and the brand's market share was 4.0% in compare with 3.5% a year before, according to the AEB. Nissan's bestseller in the Russian market in March was Nissan Qashqai crossover, the sales of which fell by 37% to 1,270 units. As a result, it entered the TOP-5 of best-selling SUV models in the Russian market, analysts of the AUTOSTAT agency stated. Nissan X-Trail is the second with 996 sold units, which is 47% lower than the indicator of a year ago.

As AUTOSTAT previously reported, Nissan plant in St. Petersburg has suspended temporarily the work since March 14th due to interruptions in the supply of components. Recall that this company produces crossovers Nissan Qashqai, X-Trail and Murano.
