According to the results of the implementation of the production plan for the first quarter of 2022, KAMAZ plants and divisions exceeded the same indicators of the previous year by 15-16%, which also contributed to the achievement of high financial results.
Thus, the automobile plant, the finishing enterprise of the company's main products, handed over 11,398 car sets for shipment to consumers in the first three months of the year (+16%). Also there were produced 12,436 engines and power units (+15%). Nevertheless, the production of cars of the K4 and K5 generations also continues, however, the stock of components is still the limiting factor in production. As Sergey Kogogin, General Director of KAMAZ, stated, the task of the enterprise is to start the assembly of K5 vehicles from January 2023 without the participation of foreign partners.
