UAZ will go on corporate leave in May of 2022

Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant will announce a corporate vacation for 6 working days in the first half of May: from May 4th to 6th and from May 11th to 13th. This was reported to the agency "AUTOSTAT" in the press service of "Sollers", by adding that the production of cars will continue from May 16th. “For the period of public holidays and corporate holidays, the shipment of cars will be carried out in a planned manner. Also, the enterprise will implement a spring campaign for the repair of production equipment,” the Sollers press service informed.

As previously reported by "AUTOSTAT", in March the Ulyanovsk car plant sold 2206 cars, which is 19% lower than the figure of a year ago. According to the results of the first three months of 2022, 5215 Ulyanovsk SUVs (-7%) were sold in our country. As a result, the share of UAZ in the Russian market in the 1st quarter was 1.9% against 1.4% a year before, according to the AEB.
