The consolidated revenue of the group of organizations of KAMAZ PJSC for 2021 was 271 billion 822 million rubles, exceeding the level of the previous year by 25%. The company's net profit in the reporting period was 4 billion 633 million rubles against 3 billion 104 million rubles in 2020, the press service of the automaker reports. As noted, the achievement of this indicator became possible due to an increase in sales volumes, the effective use of client financing tools, initiatives to reduce costs and increase labor productivity. Recall that at the end of 2021, KAMAZ increased the production by 18%, by producing 44,136 vehicles.

Sales of KAMAZ trucks in the domestic and export markets grew by 19% and reached 44 thousand units. As a result, KAMAZ keeps the leadership in the Russian market for trucks with a GVW of over 14 tons: the last year, the company's share in the Russian market was 44%. Significant revenue growth rates are due to an increase in sales of trucks in the domestic market, stable demand for the first model of the latest line of K5 vehicles - KAMAZ-54901 and an increase in sales of passenger transport (buses, electric buses). Investments in modernization and development of new technologies were 17 billion rubles, or 6% of revenue.

As previously reported by "AUTOSTAT", despite the suspension of supplies of imported components, KAMAZ continues the production of vehicles of the K4 and K5 generation. Their shipment to the dealer network also continues, but the stock of components is still the limiting factor in production. Therefore, today the main efforts of the company are aimed at localizing imported components and working with alternative Russian suppliers.

As Sergey Kogogin, General Director of KAMAZ, stated, the task of the enterprise is to start the assembly of K5 vehicles from January 2023 without the participation of foreign partners.
