The vehicle plant "Ural" has reduced the production plan for 2022

The Ural Automobile Plant plans to produce 8.4 thousand vehicles in 2022, Pavel Yakovlev, General Director of the enterprise, said. Currently, the plant is operating normally with a load of 33-36 vehicles per day, a change in operating modes is not considered yet. Earlier, AZ Ural planned to increase the production this year in compare with 2021 by 9% to 9,421 units, sales - by 8% to 9,401 trucks. In 2021, the enterprise produced 8652 thousand trucks, sold 8702 vehicles. As Pavel Yakovlev noted, the production plans put "emphasis on time-tested truck models." So, according to him, "for many years of operation, the classic Ural-4320, which has proven itself well, is still in demand in the market and is universal for installing various superstructures".

The Ural Automobile Plant continues to implement the investment program and intends to speed up its implementation with the support of the state. This year, the company plans to double its investments in development, allocating 4.5 billion rubles for projects against 2.3 billion rubles in 2021. Recall that AZ Ural is a part of the United Machine-Building Group, headed by Dmitry Strezhnev. According to the SPARK-Interfax analytical system, since March 2020, the United Machine-Building Group owns 100% of the plant's authorized capital.
