Russian car owners may lose warranty repairs

Russian car dealers have run out of some original spare parts and consumables. It is impossible to get parts for many positions, for example, for Volkswagen, Skoda and Porsche, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Jeep and Mazda cars in auto centers. In the absence of branded parts, dealers offer used and non-original components. In turn, lawyers warn that citizens can bankrupt car dealers with mass lawsuits demanding payment of penalties and return money for cars, and at current prices. As previously reported by "AUTOSTAT", the ban on the supply of new imported cars and spare parts for them to Russia can lead to an increase in thefts in order to parse cars for spare parts.

It is obvious that their number will increase, especially for the most popular brands and models of cars. Experts also do not exclude that scammers will become more active on this wave, who will stage an accident in order to receive monetary compensation from insurance companies in the face of problems with car repairs due to lack of spare parts.
