JAC will bring to Russia a new crossover S6

JAC has revealed details about the new crossover S6, the certification of which for the Russian market has already begun. As the Chinese Automobiles portal was informed in the press service of JAC, this model has been presented in China under the name Sehol QX since June 2021. The crossover with dimensions of 4605 x 1890 x 1700 mm and a wheelbase of 2720 mm is built on the new MIS Haoxue modular platform. It is equipped with a non-alternative 1.5-liter turbo engine with 184 hp, which works in combination with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-band "robot" with two "wet" clutches.

The drive is only front, but both suspensions are independent: in front - MacPherson strut, in the back - "multi-link". The basic equipment of JAC Sehol QX in the Chinese market, among other things, includes cruise control and car parking. In more expensive trim levels, LED optics, adaptive cruise control, all-round camera, panoramic roof, air conditioning, heated front seats, etc. are offered. The cost of the model is currently from 101.9 to 196.9 thousand yuan, that is, from 1.5 to 3 million rubles at the current exchange rate.

However, there is a possibility that expensive versions may not reach Russia. Recall that today the JAC lineup in Russia includes the S3 and S7 crossovers, the T6 pickup truck, the J7 liftback and the iEV7S electric hatchback.
