Ford Transit sales grew by 65% in February 2022

Russian Ford dealers sold 1,763 Ford Transit light commercial vehicles in February, which is 65% higher than a year before. According to the results of the first two months of 2022, sales of this model in our country were 2,768 cars, which is 40% higher than in the same period of the previous year, according to the AEB. As previously reported by "AUTOSTAT", the plant "Sollers Ford" in Yelabuga since March 3rd went into idle time due to the decision of Ford Motor Company to temporarily suspend the activities and operations of the joint venture. As noted, the management of Sollers Ford will take all legal actions to ensure social obligations to the team during the period of forced downtime and ensure the resumption of the work of the enterprise as soon as possible after a decision is made by Ford Motor Company.
