Japanese company Yokohama Rubber Company announced a gradual stop of production at its Russian subsidiary for the production of passenger tires Yokohama RPZ in the Lipetsk region due to the current situation and difficulties in purchasing raw materials. In turn, the governor of the Lipetsk region, Igor Artamonov, wrote on his Telegram channel that various departments are ready to help the company to adapt to new logistics conditions.

"We are ready to provide assistance through the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Transport in order to speed up the process of delivering materials," the head of the region said. He also said that the company intends to keep the staff at the Lipetsk enterprise. "Management assured that the company is interested in that all employees will continue to work at the plant. LLC, an automobile tire manufacturing company with 87% of the share capital invested by Yokohama Rubber Co. The production capacity of the plant is 1.8 million tires per a year. In November 2014, the Yokohama R.P.Z. in Lipetsk began the production of tires for the original equipment of passenger cars.
