It was allowed the test of unmanned vehicles without a person driving in Russia

In Russia, it was allowed to test unmanned vehicles without a person driving, follows from the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation. Fully unmanned vehicles, in which the presence of a person is not necessary, are allowed for tests on the territory of Innopolis in Tatarstan and on the territory of Skolkovo in Moscow. In the same place, in Innopolis and Skolkovo, as well as on the federal territory Sirius in the Krasnodar Territory and in the Yasenevo district in Moscow, tests of unmanned vehicles are allowed without a person driving, but with the presence of a specialist in the passenger seat.

In Moscow, drones can be used as a regular taxi, plying between the Yasenevo, Novoyasenevskaya and Bitsevsky Park metro stations. The cost of a trip on such taxi will not differ from the fare in the usual one. Unmanned vehicles developed by Yandex will be able to participate in the experiment. The project starts 20 days after the entry into force of the new resolution, and the experimental legal regime for the operation of drones is designed for three years.
