More than 1 trillion rubles was spent for the purchase of premium used cars

In 2021, Russians purchased 602,000 used luxury cars, by spending 1 trillion 030 billion rubles for this. This was found out by the experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" in preparation for the auto business forum "FinAuto - 2022. Market financial instruments". The inhabitants of our country spent the most of money for the purchase of used cars Mercedes-Benz brand - 284.5 billion rubles the previous year.

There is another German brand in the second place - BMW (260 billion rubles).

The third place belongs to the Japanese Lexus, which spent 133 billion rubles for the purchase of used cars. The top five also includes the German Audi (115 billion rubles) and the English Land Rover (78.5 billion rubles). Thus, these five brands have about 85% of all money spent on the purchase of used cars in the premium segment. At the same time, less than 50 billion rubles were spent on each of the remaining brands.
