Renault increased sales by 2% in Russia in February 2022

Russian Renault dealers sold 10,382 cars in February, which is 2% higher than the previous year. According to the results of the first two months of 2022, Renault sales in the Russian market were 18,320 cars, which is 2% lower than in the same period of the previous year. As a result, Renault ranked the fourth in sales among all automakers in Russia, and the brand's market share was 8.9% in compare with 8.7% a year before, according to the AEB. Duster crossover became Renault's bestseller in Russia – 4048 consumers (+80%) chose it last month.

The second place in Renault's model range was occupied by Logan sedan, the sales of which were 2006 units (-25%). The third result was shown by Renault Sandero hatchback – 1469 sold cars (-31%). Coupe-crossover Renault Arkana found 1,428 buyers in February, which is 1% lower than a year ago. The top-five crossover is finished by Renault Kaptur with 1415 sold cars (-13%). As previously reported by "AUTOSTAT", Moscow Renault plant suspended the production of cars from February 28th to March 18th due to difficulties with logistics and lack of components.
