In this regard, the main part of the company's employees was sent to idle time with the preservation of wages until further notice.

This was reported to Interfax by the press service of the plant, by adding that a group of employees will continue to work to keep the safety and serviceability of the equipment. “These measures are necessary in terms of the ability to restore promptly the production cycle of conveyor lines in the event that the Volvo plant in Kaluga resumes the production of trucks,” the press service of Volvo Trucks noted. Also the last week, Swedish truck manufacturer Scania stopped the deliveries of both vehicles and spare parts to Russia, company spokesman Eric Bratthall informed TASS.

In addition, MAN Truck&Bus has decided to stop the deliveries of new and used MAN trucks as well as original spare parts to Russia in the light of economic and foreign policy developments until further clarification of the situation. The company's production in St. Petersburg, which employs about 70 people, also stops its work due to supply problems, the press service of MAN Truck and Bus Rus reports.
