KAMAZ received more than 4 billion rubles of net profit under RAS in 2021

At the end of 2021, KAMAZ received 4 billion 056 million rubles of net profit under RAS, which is 2.6 times higher in compare with the previous year (1 billion 545 million rubles). The company's revenue in the reporting period was 248 billion 389 million rubles, exceeding the same indicator the previous year by 34%, the press service of the automaker reports. As noted, the growth in revenue is due to the dynamics of sales of trucks in the domestic market, an increase in demand for the first model of the latest line of K5 vehicles - KAMAZ-54901 and an increase in sales of passenger transport (buses, electric buses).

Recall that at the end of 2021, KAMAZ increased the production by 18%, by producing 44,136 vehicles. Sales of KAMAZ trucks in the domestic and export markets grew by 19% and reached 44 thousand units. As a result, KAMAZ keeps the leadership in the Russian market for trucks with a GVW of over 14 tons: the company's share in the Russian market was 44% the previous year. As AUTOSTAT previously reported, the European Union expanded the sanctions against Russian companies in connection with the situation around Ukraine. The sanctions list includes KAMAZ, the largest manufacturer of trucks in our country.

As Sergey Kogogin, General Director of KAMAZ, stated in his video message, the automaker agreed with the Government of the Russian Federation on a plan for further actions and intends to fulfill its obligations to suppliers.
