AVTOVAZ, which started the work week yesterday with a downtime of all assembly lines at its main site in Togliatti due to the ongoing shortage of electronic components, resumed the full production today. According to the public "Atypical AVTOVAZ", in the coming days all conveyors of the enterprise in Togliatti will be used according to their usual schedules - the plant is now making every effort to stabilize the current work. Luca de Meo, CEO of Renault Group, said in a recent interview with the Financial Times that the company's plants in Russia may face problems in the supply of components due to the situation around Ukraine.

Thus, for the production sites of AVTOVAZ, imported components account for about 20%, and for the Moscow Renault plant, this figure is close to 40%. Thus, the Moscow Renault plant will temporarily suspend the production from February 28th to March 5th cause of some interruptions in the supply of components. In turn, the president of AVTOVAZ, Nicolas Maure, previously reported that the company was studying the topic of alternative suppliers against the backdrop of sanctions risks.
