Mazda Sollers plant produced about 28 thousand Mazda cars in 2021, which is 3% higher in compare with the previous year (27,053 units). This was reported to the agency "AUTOSTAT" in the press service of the enterprise, by noting that the main limiting factor for increasing production volumes was the global shortage of semiconductors. In 2022, the plant in Vladivostok plans to produce 30,000 Mazda vehicles (+7% year-on-year), subject to the normalization of the situation with semiconductors. Mazda CX-5 crossover remains the most mass-produced model on the Mazda Sollers assembly line.

We also add that the production of the Mazda CX-30 compact crossover, launched at the Mazda Sollers plant at the end of 2020, was suspended indefinitely in the first quarter of the previous year. Mazda's bestseller in the Russian market remains the CX-5 crossover, the sales of which were 19.8 thousand vehicles the last year (-1%). Mazda6 business sedan ranked the second with 4.6 thousand sold cars (-0.7%). In January 2021, Russian Mazda dealers began the sales of the new Mazda CX-30 compact crossover, and by the end of the year it found 2.6 thousand buyers. The Mazda CX-9 premium seven-seat crossover sold 2.1 thousand units, which is more by 59% in compare with 2020.
