On the eve of the automotive business forum "ForAuto - 2022. Results and forecasts of the car market", the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT" conducted a survey among the official dealers participating in the forum on their plans for the current year. There were also issues related to electric vehicles, the market of which in our country grew 3 times over the year (!), and with the growing interest in Chinese brands, the sales and share of which in the Russian market doubled in 2021. We have previously reported about the results of a survey of dealers on the introduction of new IT technologies.

This time we present the corresponding results for the "Chinese" and electric vehicles. An analysis of the responses showed that almost half of the respondents (46.8%) are interested in Chinese brands. Among them, 22.3% are already working with distributors from the Middle Kingdom, other 24.5% plan to start the sales of "Chinese" in 2022. Approximately 19.1% of respondents found it difficult to answer. The rest 34.1% have no plans related to Chinese cars for the current year. With regard to interest in electric vehicles, the situation is slightly different. So far, only 1.1% of those surveyed are engaged in the sale and maintenance of electric vehicles. However, a third of the respondents (33.7%) plan to include such cars in the sold line of models in 2022.

It should be noted that at the forum the topic of environmentally friendly cars will be considered from different angles - both from the point of view of developing their domestic market, and in relation to the electromobility transformation of corporate fleets. Forum participants will receive the full version of the consolidated results of the survey. The event will take place on February 16th in Moscow.
