Jaguar Land Rover has certified the fifth-generation Range Rover SUV in Russia, which will be presented in four versions. The novelty is already available for order at Russian dealers, and prices will be announced closer to the start of sales, scheduled for spring. Recall that the new Range Rover was introduced at the end of October 2021, and for the last two months of last year there were received 2,300 orders for this model from Russian customers.

So, in the Russian Range Rover range of the new generation there will be two diesel and two petrol modifications. Ranger Rover D250 (249 hp, 570 Nm) and Range Rover D350 (350 hp, 700 Nm) have in-line six-cylinder biturbodiesel 3.0 of their own Ingenium family. The third, previously unannounced modification will be the Range Rover P360, a “mild” hybrid with a 3.0 petrol turbo six (360 hp, 500 Nm) of the Ingenium series, a 48-volt starter-alternator and a compact lithium-ion battery under the front seats. And at the top of the range there is the Range Rover P530 with a BMW N63 biturbo engine (V8, 4.4 l), which produces 530 hp and 750 Nm.

Such SUV will be able to accelerate to 100 km / h in 4.6 seconds, the maximum speed is 250 km / h. All new Range Rovers are equipped with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. The car will be available in both standard and long wheelbases, as well as, for the first time in Range Rover history, a seven-seat configuration. Off-road capabilities of Range Rover are provided by the advanced integrated chassis control system Integrated Chassis Control. Active Rear Steering improves high-speed stability and control with the smallest turning circle of any Land Rover, while electronic air suspension proactively adjusts settings using eHorizon navigation data.

In the interior, advanced air purification technology improves cabin air quality, while Active Noise Cancellation ensures a quiet ride. As AUTOSTAT previously reported, at the end of 2021, Russian customers bought 6388 Land Rover SUVs, which corresponds to the level of the previous year.
