Passenger car imports grew by 39% in 2021

The import of passenger cars to Russia in 2021 grew by 39.4% to 338.9 thousand cars. According to the data of the Federal Customs Service (FCS) of Russia, during the reporting period, cars worth $7 billion 990 million were imported into Russia.

At the same time, 24.4 thousand cars were imported in December (-6.9% in compare with November) for $631.8 million. Imports of trucks grew by 40.1% to 33.8 thousand vehicles with a total value of $2 billion 271.7 million the previous year. Among them, 3.7 thousand trucks (+30.8% against November) worth $209.2 million were delivered to our country in December.
