Mitsubishi more than doubled sales in Russia in January 2022

Russian Mitsubishi dealers sold 2,054 cars in January, which is 2.2 times higher than a year before. According to the press service of MMC Rus, Mitsubishi's bestseller in the Russian market remains the Outlander crossover, the sales of which grew by 93% last month and reached 1,155 vehicles.

The second most popular Mitsubishi model was Pajero Sport frame SUV with 446 sold cars in compare with 31 cars a year before.

The third place in the sales ranking was occupied by the Mitsubishi ASX compact crossover, which was chosen by 369 buyers (+62%). As AUTOSTAT previously reported, in January 2022, MMC Rus sold the 300,000th Mitsubishi Outlander crossover since the model entered the Russian market in 2003. As a result, this crossover secured the title of the most popular Mitsubishi in our country, displacing the previous leader Mitsubishi Lancer.
