Lamborghini set a new sales record in Russia in 2021

Russian Lamborghini dealers sold 200 cars in 2021, which is 48% higher than a year ago. As the head of Lamborghini in Eastern Europe and the CIS, Konstantin Sychev, notes, this is a new brand sales record in our country, which exceeds the previous maximum by 27%, recorded in 2019. The Urus crossover remains the bestseller of Lamborghini in our country, the press service of the Italian brand reports.

Recall that three new models were released the previous year: the rear-wheel drive Huracán STO supercar, the farewell series of the Aventador Ultimae model, and the anniversary special version of the LPI 800-4, released in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Countach.

Lamborghini plans to introduce four new models in 2022 and will continue to prepare for a hybrid line-up from 2023. More than €1.5 billion will be invested for four years in key projects that will see Lamborghini launch its first production hybrid model in 2023 and electrify its entire range by the end of 2024, with a goal of reducing CO2 emissions by 50% in 2025. For the next 10 years, a fourth, all-electric model will appear in the brand's lineup.
