Lynk & Co is preparing to enter the Russian market

The premium brand Lynk & Co, which is a part of Geely Holding and equally owned by Geely Auto and Volvo, is preparing to start sales in Russia and has already begun the recruiting of employees for the Russian representative office. Elena Gorlova, the official representative of Lynk& Co in Russia, informed Motor.ru about it, however, she did not name specific dates for the brand's cars to appear at Russian dealers.

The fact is that before the model officially goes on sale, it must go through a long certification procedure. The model range of Lynk & Co, which will be presented in the Russian market, has not been disclosed by the company yet. Recall that in China today the brand is represented by the 01 SUV, 02 hatchback, 03 crossover, 05 cross-coupe, 06 compact crossover and 09 flagship SUV, which are offered with both traditional internal combustion engines and hybrid power plants. There is no model with the index 04 in the Lynk & Co range, which may be due to the tetraphobia inherent in the Chinese, that is, the fear of the number 4, which is often associated with death.

Meanwhile, in 2020, Lynk&Co entered the European market. The brand launched the so-called concept stores in several cities in Sweden and Germany, as well as in Belgium and the Netherlands, where it offers to take the 01 crossover by subscription.
